    Customer Service is terrible. You can call or live chat all you want. They will transfer you to every department and pretend they cannot help you, even when the errors are on their part.

    The lady in there has a hard time typing in my phone number, even made the comment of oh youre making me work so hard today All I wanted to do was just pay my bill and set up an autopay, she had a bad attitude, and told me I should just call costumer service

    Optimum customer service is the worst. The store manager was very caring and helpful. I have had to contact the customer service and have had the worst experience. I purchased three phones and switched my service on December 29, 2023. Service was ported on the wrong phone. The manager tried to return the wrong phone so we could transfer service to the correct phone. She had to put in a help ticket and a week went by and the help ticket was never processed. My daughter went a whole week without her phone service. The salesperson did not take our old devices for trade in the same day we purchased the three phones and we were told we could do it a later date which was not correct. I was not told that you need a certain internet speed to qualify for the discount with internet and mobile service. I returned the other two devices on January 12, 2024 and received my refund but for some reasons only one of the devices were removed from my account and now I was told by customer service that I can't receive a transfer port pin to move services because of the device still showing on my account even thought I have a receipt showing the return of this device. Every time I call the customer service number I am told it will take 24 hours. If I had another choice for internet provider in my area I would leave Optimum for good. This has been the worst experience I have dealt with.
