    Update: Ive upgraded the rating based on the response I received from Optimum to take accountability and assist with the reducing the additional time service would be connected (and that I would be charged for). I do believe improvements are needed with giving the ability to for customer reps to stop going through a script in certain instances (such as a death). I appreciate the assistance given to correct the matter. I went to disconnect service at my Mom's apartment after she passed away. I was asked at least 4 times if there was someone else they could transfer the service to. I kept asking them to just please disconnect the service, my mother passed away. Then I was told that service would not be disconnected for another month and that I would billed for another full month. Glad that I can disconnect and not give them more business. Should have went with another provider a long time ago.

    I pay almost $100 a month for half a months of service due to outages everyday it seems like. Super slow most the time compared to suddenlink. Really dont know whats going on but Im looking into different internet providers! Paid my bill today only to have nothing almost all day!
