        They actually FILL the small bottles full, not like propane exchange tanks that are just 3/4 full. Prices are unbeatable, service is spot on. Shawson is my "go to" for all my propane needs.

        I recommend going to Tractor Supply to have your small bottles/tanks refilled. This place charges based on tank size so even if it isn't empty you'll pay as if it was and they don't fill them properly anyway. Nor can they prove how much was put in because the displayed measuring device is disabled. I re-measured with a calibrated sonar device, I received 5.9 gallons in my 30# tank, but was charged for 7 gallons (I know I said, "by size", but they yelled, "7 gallons" to the cashier). I also delayed writing this review so that I could use up my entire tank and have it refilled by a reputable dealer just to double confirm my findings. If I had a large residential tank to be filled, I'd find anyone else to give my money to.

      I’m sorry if there was any misunderstanding, we always fill by the bottle size and you were told in advance. The meter is for filling RVs and motor fuel. The 7 gal that was told to the cashier is how they refer to the bottle size for short. Many customer call it a 7.5 gallon instead of 30#.
