Kudos on letting us check in early, but our room was on the third floor and the elevator was out of order. Rooms were very dirty. The carpet was completely nasty. Beds weren't too comfortable. Needs some work!

Rooms: Definitely worn with stains on couch. Looks like they may be renovating.
Safety: The exterior door in the stairwell that opens to a side street had a broken lock so was ajar. I wouldnt have known except that the elevator was out of service so I had to walk up 5 flights of stairs with bags and 4 kids at 1am.

Absolutely disgusting. My wife booked this with the impression upon her own research that this is one of the better places to stay in New Orleans for the money. I read the reviews upon arrival and wow, accurate. Reeked of marijuana (the entire place). Coffee is watered down to nothing (literally worst I have ever had). Elevator was broken (their website was not updated to indicate this). Felt as if full of squatters and drug addicts everywhere, peeping out of the window from above (tweaked out). Dirty, in disrepair. Needs updates upon updates but let's get started with the broken side entry door, with people letting anyone and everyone in. The mattresses for the two queens were the worst I have ever sat and slept on, no more than a few inches thick. The sausage and links looked like they had been taken out of the trash and recooked fifty times. Bed bug or roach in the bath linen (you decide in pic posted). I had boogers all over the wall next to me in bed and cleaned the wall instead of living in the disgust (yuck). Shower curtain ripped, tub broken, vanity lights rusted and falling off. Just too much to list, black mold all over behind curtains. Horrible. Likely another Indian owned Choice Hotels brand and they let it run down into garbage, pay minimal taxes, bank and sell and all the unknowing Amercian customers are fooled. The pictures they post of this place are deception for their hotel. Not even close, maybe it was years or decades ago but not now. I am telling you, unless you are a druggy with very low standards, GO STAY SOMEPLACE ELSE. No such thing as budget friendly anything post COVID-19, not even possible to travel and enjoy our own country because of so much fraud/deceit/low standards for the $. What an absolute shame for people with children, family. This place should be condemned ASAP!

I have never stayed at this place before and was told that it was a four star. It is not even close to a 3 star. I was told one price through reservations but once here my price went up. When discussing my price change with front desk she tells me that the hotel can increase your price without your notifying you. I have never heard such a thing. Once checked in, I was told we would have a first floor room of course that didn't happen. We were on the second floor which would not have been a.problem but the elevator was out of order. We had so much luggage that we dragged upstairs. Hair was all over the bathtub. My husband tells me that he never wants to come back here again not only to the hotel but the state as well. This is a cheap hotel in a bad area. Because it says suites doesn't make it nice. My daughter and I would not lay on the sheets because the room was not the cleanest and hair over the bathtub until we both laid on our throws. What a mess!!! Who runs a place like this. I would not recommend anyone to stay here unless you are desperate or don't have a place to stay.
