New Vision Eyewear

I am disappointed with the optical department's service regarding the ordering of my daughter's glasses. Despite their advertised turnaround time of 7-10 days, it has been nearly four weeks, and my daughter is still without her glasses. The situation is dire as she cannot see near without them, and her ophthalmologist advised against using her current ones. I reached out to the optical department week after week, hoping for updates on the status of the glasses, but each time, they promised to check and call back, which they never did. Today, after yet another fruitless call, I was informed by Cindy that the frames were backordered with no estimated time of arrival. The lack of organization and communication from this department's staff is appalling. It's unacceptable that they failed to provide timely updates despite the critical nature of my daughter's vision needs. Their neglect has left my 21-month-old daughter without proper vision for an extended period, which is simply unacceptable. In light of this experience, I will be taking my business elsewhere for my daughter's glasses. This entire ordeal could have been significantly less inconvenient if the optical department had been proactive and communicative. I strongly advise against relying on their services, as their incompetence and disregard for customer care are evident.

I am beyond grateful! Kathy and Krista are phenomenal and TRULY care about you getting the glasses you want for the best price with your insurance etc and really worked with me on getting a few pairs squared away. They have a great selection and whatever that other review said was probably somewhere else because these are the nicest glasses people on the planet. Thanks again ladies!

If I could give negative stars, I'd give them a negative 5. First of all I have been waiting since February15, and it's now May 23 and my glasses are still not ready. There have been numerous unforeseen circumstances including, breakage, lost in mail and wrong color frame. That last setback was when the lens provider informed me my frames were ready for productionI, I decided to go with a tortoise shell pattern instead of black which they said would not be a problem. They ended up calling New Vision to let them know my tortoise shell frames will be shipped to them and this is where the problems begins to escalate. The representative at New Vision didn't know I had changed frame colors and told them they where wrong and went back to black. It is almost June, no shades and they are telling me I can't have tortoise shell now. It's there mistake and they should take the hit if thats what it takes to complete my order. I'm beyond frustrated. If you don't mind waiting 5 or more months for a pair of frames, go to to New Vision on Pyrtania St. in New Orleans! Oh! One more thing. They are blaming the insurance company and told me they were doing me a favor going through them. That is also not my fault and so absurd. I just want my glasses.
