Lions Inn

The Lions Inn neighborhood location is within easy walking distance to the French Quarters, but far enough removed from the hustle and bustle to be peaceful and safe. The historic accommodations are low-key and very well maintainedwith the added surprise bonus of lush, beautiful, poolside gardens. The owner of the inn, Ed, is also kind and accommodating. This is my second stay at the Lion and I plan on returning.

The Lions Inn is an absolute gem, nestled in the Marigny neighborhood. As a local we did our August staycation at the Lions Inn. We usually choose a different location each year, but not any more! The owner, Ed was the nicest, greeting us at check in and check out. The back courtyard with the pool, hot tub, meditation area and continental breakfast area is spectacular. Full of beautiful plants and flowers with a wonderful pool. It is a truly relaxing space. Just 5 blocks from Frenchman street, where we keep alot of our music and surrounded by many excellent restaurants and bars. Relax and take a chill pill at the Lions Inn, I'm looking forward to my next visit.

What a relaxing and beautiful Inn. Nestled in the Marigny neighborhood, just 5 blocks from Frenchman street this Inn is a gem. The room was clean and quaint, the backyard is a beautiful jungle/garden with a fantastic pool and hot tub. In the morning the owner Ed puts out a spread of pastries and Coffee. We left rejuvenated from our staycation, after visiting some wonderful neighborhood restaurants and bars, and reading time around the pool. I would give it 6 stars if allowed. I can't wait to go back!
