Hi Heather, I just found your ticket, It was under a different name. The 2005 GMC envoy was dropped off here and we repaired what we were given permission to repair. We told Jacob your vehicle needed a battery and we even jumped the vehicle off when you picked the vehicle up. He was going to put the battery in himself. When the vehicle was diagnosed it would not start. The computer showed a faulty crankshaft position sensor. We changed the sensor and also found the wiring to the sensor was chewed up and repaired the wiring harness to the sensor. Customer Justin stated cylinder 5 had a misfire but the vehicle would not run at all and had not ran for a long time. We found the #5 and 2 other coils were misfiring and we installed 3 total after his permission. At that time we completed the work and the vehicle was running fine but it had a slight miss but the computer was not showing any misfires. We suggested to add fuel treatment to gas since he had been sitting up and not ran in a long time. We do not understand the 02 sensor not unplugged because we had no reason to unplug them, we were working on a misfire problem. We did not hear from you of having problems until we saw this review.
