Mike's was recommended to us by a friend who had purchased firewood from him last year and was impressed by the quality of the wood. On that basis, we called Mike and ordered a half-cord of seasoned hardwood, which was delivered the same day. We have a gravel driveway leading to a large concrete pad adjacent to the house. Mike volunteered that he had recently discovered his truck was leaking oil and he did not want to get oil on the concrete. Consequently, he parked on the gravel and off-loaded the wood into a wheelbarrow, making multiple trips to where he stacked the wood at a point on the concrete pad we designated. I thanked Mike for going the extra distance to protect our concrete from any oil stains. We received a generous half-cord and were very pleased with the quality of the wood and the consistency and convenient size of the splitting. We will definitely order from Mike's again.
