The View Tower Apartments

I lived at (The View Tower) for a 1-year lease. During this time, I was an NYU Speech and Language Pathologist graduate student and relocated for my clinical internship to Shreveport, LA. To future tenants; I LOVED living at The View, to be honest it was the best apartment complex I have ever lived at. The staff is extremely supportive and helpful. Management is top, they have community events quite often I.e., free complimentary tacos for Cinco De Mayo, king cake for Mardi Gras , free coffee every morning, crawfish cook outs for MudBug, free wrapping paper station for the holidays, free doughnuts just because and so much more. I never stayed at a place that really values the well being of their tenants. The rent is affordable for all of the amenities this place has to offer. There are always wide and free parking spaces, a community room with a pool table and access to cable TV, a quiet study room for 2 (which I used numerous times being a student-*printer included). A small gym with everything you need for cardio or light weight training. The maintenance personnel have been here for a long time and get their work orders done quickly. I had two small work orders while I was here (one for the blinds and the other for a small faucet issue) both were done in a timely manner. The property is extremely quiet. Free laundry, which I think is extremely uncommon and awesome that this property offered this. However, this is based off how well the other tenants are keeping their laundry etiquette for your floor. My floor (4th floor) was pretty easy going with laundry. Cameras are provided around the facility as well for safety of belongings and safety of the tenants. The property was very clean and kept up by the cleaning staff. Literally, the only downside was the elevators are a little outdated and tenants are not good at keeping the community carts in their designated areas. The property was always on top of asking tenants to be respectful to each other when it came to shared amenities. I have been gone for 6 months now, I heard from an old neighbor they are working on updating the elevators. I would just suggest getting a small Amazon cart for groceries- an easy fix. Overall, I would give this property an A. There have been tenants who lived here for 10+years to 6 months. Mainly medical professionals, students, police officers and military who reside at The View. Good luck finding a place! This is definitely a place to consider.

Just moved in, so far everything is lovely. Safe neighborhood, nice views, conveniently located. Ms. Alex is very friendly and helps out in anyway she could. I was worried about the washer room but I never had to wait so far. Also it was very important for me to have a large bedroom. I was able to fit my king size bed, a huge desk, 2 large drawers and a vanity table in, which still leaves plenty room enough to do Yoga even!
