Dear Mr. Prentiss Thompson,Thank you for your feedback. We welcome any and all constructive and amicable feedback that will allow us to review and make adjustments wherever necessary to achieve our goal of Guest Satisfaction.Unfortunately sir, with your feedback details we are challenged, as the facts that you had stated to us, are in contradiction to what you have detailed herewith.Here is the time line in regards to your reservation and arrival:You arrived at our Front Desk, sir, on the 13th of March 2024 to check in. Our Front desk informed you that we did not have your reservation in our arrival list for that day. You did not provide us with your confirmation number. Our system shows us arrival by date which for the 13th your name did not pull up. Also we were sold out that night. You left without informing us of any more details at that time.On the 15th of March, you called us at the Hotel phone to inquire on a charge on your credit card. Your call was transferred to our AGM who checked your charge for the amount mentioned, and traced it to a No Show charge for a reservation with the arrival date of March the 14th 2024. You had not come to check in into this day’s reservation, nor called to cancel, and therefore this reservation had gone in the NO Show and was charged per our No Show policy. In the same phone conversation you mentioned, that your daughter made the reservation for you (and not just someone using your bank account which would indicate fraud). Furthermore, your email address was on the reservation booked for the 14th by your daughter sir, which indicates that a confirmation email was sent to you informing you of your room booked for the night of 14th (not the 13th).You had also told us then that you were going to dispute the charge. And sir, that would be disputable had it been an inappropriate charge. Respectfully, we ask that you please have a balanced view of above facts and thereby putting things in perspective, do not lay outlandish and unfair charges on us.
