It is a pity when a wrong choice was made by booking a room in a small historic inn, and not a B&B or the local chain hotels. We are modest and humble. We do not offer breakfast, nor coffee in the morning as inclusive, indeed. Your husband asked for coffee nicely and I made you a French press pot and placed some cookies on the side, complementary and on the house. He never asked for cream or half-and-half, but even if he did I wouldn’t have it, nor I have low fat milk, you were offered regular milk. You opted out for breakfast with us and you haven’t sampled it to have an opinion about it. Hurricane, our dog, is listed on the website as our “dog in the premises”. He is 15 years old and barely walks. He was resting on the sunny side of the porch by my mother’s side. He was leashed, as you said, and he did not bother neither of you to our best knowledge. As to the rest of your dissatisfactions I will leave it as is - one cannot please everyone, especially when one has already made up her/his mind. We are sorry that your experience was below the benchmark of what we are trying to offer to each guest who comes to stay with us. And we will try to think through all of your suggestions as they are a valuable source of our guests' insight and we work hard to accommodate every guest who comes through our doors. Thank you!
