Ma’am, the whole tree was dead. We had discussed that the dead tree needed to be removed. I did all the trimming I could safely and we worked on your property all day like I said we would do. Like I said before, the tree you want trimmed has to come down, I never agreed to more trimming, I told you I would trim what I could safely and get it off the building, which I completed! When asked to trim higher, I explained that you will need a bucket truck to trim off the higher branches because it’s not safe for a climber to climb any higher than I did, you asked me if I owned a bucket truck and I said “No”, you asked if I could rent one and I said “No”. You were going to talk to the neighbor about splitting the removal cost, when he said “no” you demanded for more trimming! I said “No”, and you was not happy! (This was a year later when we had that conversation) I don’t collect checks unless job is completed which is written on the contract. So when I collected a check it’s because the job was finished! When I collected the check you asked if the job was complete and I said Yes. If the job was not complete I would of not rendered payment. You were also pleased with the job when you payed me and was very appreciative and understood about the dead tree, Sorry if their was any communication issue, and I’m sorry you felt like I did not trim enough. This job was also years ago I’m not sure why you decide to write a negative review because you told me you understood when you payed me. But was not happy after the neighbor refused to help you pay for the removal, and the removal is all I am willing to do! Im not willing to trim high canopy branches on dead trees because of safety issues. I cant put my life at risk like that. Which was explained and you understood. Not sure why you said I didn’t trim dead branches when the whole tree is dead, if you want all the dead branches removed pay for the removal of the tree, which we had agreed that was the work that needed to be done in the future. Hence why you asked the neighbor to help you with the removal cost! You had hired me for a canopy lift off the house, deck, fence and building, which was completed, not a removal of any tree or upper canopy work, you did not hire me for what you think needed to be done, which was a tree removal, when I said you needed to hire me for more work you was expecting me to do more for free, which I had explained the work you hired me for was completed and you needed to pay for the removal!! Which is no where written on your contract!! Your contacts says canopy lift. Which was completed by me and my guys. The removal of the tree would be new work and would come with new costs. It’s a shame you felt the need to attack me and my guys in a negative review, because we worked all day, with no equipment, we dragged everything by hand, we completed the contract and went above and beyond, gave you a great job at a great price, and after discussing it with my guys, they agreed that we had done a lot of work for you and at a low price. I’m not sure what you expected, but we did what we said we would do and was payed accordingly.
