As for the shop, I was disappointed in how dated the gowns all felt. And, I'm guessing because they were all from older collections, I was discouraged from trying on anything that wouldn't immediately fit me. I also told her that I'd really like sleeves, but she insisted that I didn't need them, even though I want them because I like the aesthetic not to hide my arms. Everything was really affordable so that is definitely beneficial if you are on a budget and/or need something quickly. Patricia was mostly pleasant, but there were a few comments she made that made me uncomfortable as a customer regarding other shops and past customers.

Do not recommend for many reasons: First of all, due to minimal parking, I had to park pretty far away and walk in the freezing cold only to see a sign posted on the door, By appointment only. So I called to schedule an appointment on the next day. The next day, I show up for the appointment on time and Patricia Buck is nowhere to be found. As I am standing outside in the cold, I call her and she finally shows up. We go into her shop and we start digging through a basket looking for long, black dress gloves. She finally finds an unmarked pair that she says is black, but I said it looked like it was dark blue. She insisted that they were black and sold them to me for $25. Sure enough, when I got them home, they didnt match my black dress so I couldnt wear them. Less than a week after purchasing them, I asked Patricia if I could return them and she said no because my event I was going to wear them to in Nashville had already occurred and so they were unreturnable. There was no sign in her store informing customers of her return policy. Horrible customer service/a total waste of time and money. Dont make the same mistake I did.

If you are looking for a magical experience you will not find it here. If you are in a pinch for time and don't have a big budget, you may find a dress however. The owner was late for the appt, so we stood in the rain waiting for 15 to 20 minutes...no apology was given. The shop was probably lovely at one time. It's now old and needs renovations. The carpeting is old and dirty. The lights don't all work (very difficult to see...glad phones have flashlights). Perhaps this is why the dresses are able to be sold at such low prices? If only the dressing room had been nice. Our bride was uncomfortable taking her shoes off on the carpeting. Time is short, so a dress that can be altered, was purchased. She's still looking for something she loves. We had lunch at Otto's next door, following our appt. That helped to put a smile on our disappointed bride's face. An honest review that I was saddened to write.
