Stratford

We spent 3 nights here and it was a perfect 10/10! The location was outstanding -right in town and steps from free shuttles to Acadia. The room was large, spotless and comfortable, and daily breakfast was delicious! The owner was present and helped us manage what to see and do in the park.

Stratford is a beautiful home with a gracious host and wonderful service. After confirming our reservation, we got an email informing us about restaurant recommendations and gave us info about Acadia National Park as well which is a nice touch. Breakfast was delicious and they even serve wine & cheese at 5pm. Highly recommend!

We spent four nights recently and the Inn was the perfect home base for our vacation. We had all three rooms on the third floor. The rooms are large with two having separate seating rooms for the family to gather. Breakfast was wonderfully and filling with enough variety to satisfy everyone. We had an early start one day and our Host prepared a bagged breakfast with a breakfast sandwich, muffin and banana. Perfect before our morning outing. Wine and cheese are set out in the living room in the afternoon. The location is an easy walk to all of Bar Harbor and a five minute drive to the Cadillac Mountain entrance to the park. I cant recommend the Stratford Inn high enough.

My stay here was fantastic. The breakfast is stellar and theres plenty of options. I met the owner and she is very kind and cognizant of the guests needs. Parking available onsite, great space in the room I stayed in with a good private bathroom. Will definitely come back!
