Great location and a lovely room. The side walks and parking lot were shoveled multiple times during the snow storm. Even our car was cleaned off! Thank you for providing an affordable pleasant experience!

This is a nice getaway for a long weekend or even an extended stay. Very clean, very quiet and conveniently located near Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. They also have a a wood burning fire pit and a propane fire pit where you can sit out in the evening around a nice fire, sip a bit and relax. My only negative was there was no wood for the wood burning fire pit. I had to gather my own firewood (which I didn't mind). That wouldn't work for people that aren't physically able to walk around lifting branches and breaking them for a fire. At any rate, this place is great if you're looking for a quiet getaway.

We loved it at Hanscoms! Stayed in late March 2024. We arrived at 3:30 a.m. after driving from NJ after work. The keypad feature to enter the room was perfect. Room 7 is immaculate, cozy, and has a very comfortable bed. The kitchenette had everything we needed and there was room to spread out and do some work at the table. The extra heater was a nice touch this time of year. I would not think twice about booking here again!

We stayed in cottage # 4 and had a truly wonderful experience. Hanscoms stands out as being open year-round, and we couldnt be happier with our stay. The room was clean, bright, and beautifully designed, the kitchenette was very well equipped, and there was lots of space for us to spread out all of our equipment for five days spent in Acadia NP. Service was swift and friendly, and the key-less entry is such a welcome feature! Thank you for such a fantastic stay in Bar Harbor!

Perfect stay if you are looking for a stay within budget near Acadia. Convenient location, and rooms are very cute.
