Very happy with the attention to detail and the patience of the staff during my selection of my prescription made me feel comfortable and un rushed, prescription and glasses were finished rather quickly and with a reasonable price that I could afford out of pocket I highly recommend Peter and his staff

They are AWESOME!! Outstanding Customer Service!!! Recently, I had a pair of glasses break and I ordered the frames on line to replace them myself. I ran into an issue and needed a screw inserted back into the new frames. I took my glasses here and they took the time (about 20 minutes) to get the screw back in and they did not charge me even though I am not a patient or client.

A pleasant experience all around. Although my visit was only for new nose pieces Peter took the time to make sure my glasses fit properly and made the necessary adjustments. Good selection of the latest frames and designer sunglasses too. Highly recommend.

Peter and his team have made my experience of wearing glasses with puppys and active lifestyle doable. I love these guys! Also, ZEAL sunglasses are completely underrated. Maui J lens for half the dough. Bulletproof frame. Cant say enough about absolute great service. Thank you

Welcome to Peter Nesin, your Maine Midcoast Optician in Belfast Maine. I have lived and worked in the Penobscot Bay area for over 40 years. I absolutely love my job and my customers. I also enjoy sailing and fishing with my family which is why Maine coast is the perfect place to reside. Our optical dispensary specializes in filling prescriptions for eyeglasses. This includes helping our customers choose an appropriate and fashionable frame, measuring, fitting, and adapting lenses for the patient according to the written optical prescription. We then prepare the work order for the optical laboratory containing instructions for grinding and mounting lenses in the frame. When the eyeglasses arrive from the laboratory we checked them.
