Could not expect a landscape designer/contractor to be more accommodating, more friendly, more professional, more skilled, or more respectful of the job site (our home) than this team was. Ted and his team were very professional from the initial estimate through the work being completed AHEAD of schedule. We had multiple meetings that were very informative regarding each and every step regarding the work the team planned and performed. All team members were very accessible via phone or email usually responding in less than a business day. We had a severe slope that was threatening our deck and the team came up with a great drainage plan that is a long term fix rather than a temporary band aid. The team seemed very comfortable working in tight conditions with heavy machinery with little to no flat ground. When the work was completed Harry went over the work completed in great detail before they broke ground, as well as after the job was completed. We look forward to working with the team again on future landscape and planting projects! Cant say enough about their professionalism, knowledge, communication, and quality work.

I first discovered Ted Carter Inspired Landscapes through advertisements and articles in Maine home design magazines. I've always admired Ted's designs and knew, when we relocated to Maine, he would be one of the first persons I would call. Our property was terribly overgrown and the hardscape was unattractive and in poor condittion. Ted designed a beautiful bluestone walkway and patio which were installed during the past two seasons. This spring our plantings and lighting went in. Since then, we've received numerous compliments from friends and strangers alike. It's always a surprise as some stop while driving or walking by to take pictures or share how much they enjoy our property's transformation. And we are so happy that we finally have beautiful gardens to enjoy. It's a delight and surprise to see our garden evolve as the season passes. We know we'll be enjoying it for years to come. The best part of our three-year project was getting to know and work with such talented and wonderful people. We cannot speak more hightly of Ted, Erik, Harry and the rest of the installation and office teams whose talents are unparrelled and it is our pleasure to highly recommend them. I couldn't be happier with the results of the landscaping done by Harry and his talented crew. They worked non-stop on an extremely warm summer day and went above and beyond--even taking the time to re-plant some perennials that I assumed would just be tossed away. Great creative abilities and positive attitudes.
