Camden Windward House

My mom and I enjoyed our stay at the Windward House. It was our first time visiting Camden, ME and I am so glad I picked this B&B!! The location was perfect, the house was beautiful, and the innkeepers, Matt & Dan, were amazing!! This is definitely a repeat next time we are up in Camden. Thank you!!!

We stayed here for 2 nights . Perfect spot for exploring Maine. Dan and Matt are fantastic hosts. Five star service - they anticipate needs of guests and have everything well planned. 2nd floor bar and game room is a bonus for relaxing at the end of day. I would highly recommend this place and hope to return again soon. Rooms: Stayed in Crows nest - very comfortable. Nearby activities: Downtown is less than 5 minute walk. Mt Battie trail head and Camden Hills State park is at end of street. Walkability: Easy access to downtown and hiking in Camden Hills state park Food & drinks: Great breakfast menu with delicious cocktails

Omg! Matt & Dan are lovely. Their custom breakfast is to die for and the rooms and help-yourself bar are just so adorable! The entire house was decorated beautifully and the beds were so comfortable. My mom and I came for Halloween and loved the decorations - cant wait to see it in Christmas! Main street is a 5 minute walk from the house

Truly enjoyed our stay at Matt and Dans Camden Windward House. Matt and Dan were wonderful hosts and were extremely helpful in planning our days around and near Camden. Breakfasts were delicious and hearty with several choices every morning. I loved waking up early and walking 5 minutes to the harbor and town. We stayed in the Coastal Garden room and got to experience their wonderful gardening talent every time we left our room. We would love to return to Camden and wouldnt hesitate to revisit Windward House.

Stayed one night on our Maine roundtrip between Portland and Bar Harbor. The hosts have definitely found their calling in life and could not have done anything different to help us enjoy our stay. The grounds are beautiful and quirky, plenty of semi-private seating areas, and a fully stocked bar upstairs with options to sit on a deck overlooking the gardens or belly up inside. Breakfast was perfect and the system for picking a time the night before worked great so there isn't a rush in the morning. We only stayed in one room so cannot compare it to other rooms but if you want cozy, relaxing, tree-house type of vibe, the Quarterdeck is it. The room includes a separate exterior private entrance, private deck in the trees, with a few sitting spaces in the room, full 4 piece bath, skylights to watch the stars, a gas fireplace/stove, and an extremely comfortable bed. We walked to downtown restaurants and waterfront from the house (easy 5-10 min). Will try to return in the future but for multiple nights. Rooms: Quarterdeck has an exterior private entrance and feels like you are in a treehouse. Food & drinks: Great selection of wine and beer on property (for purchase).
