Amerispec did our home inspection last year in September. Several things were missed. Exhaust vent over stove was not even hooked up but it was called serviceable. Obviously didn't look at it.
Windows in house were also called serviceable, but several of the wooden frames were cracked and several would not even open.
Was told the fireplace damper was inoperable. It was working.
I would expect better from experienced home "inspectors".

Weâ€™ve purchased several homes over the years and always used an inspector, and Bob Courville is head and shoulders above the rest. He has all the attributes of a great inspector, knowledge of construction, detail orientation, thorough in reporting, patient and communicative, fairly priced, the list goes on. Friendly and funny to boot. We are thankful to Bob and Amerispec for catching several key issues with our purchase of an older home, providing critical information for our requested remedies. Definitely recommend Bob and Amerispec!
