        This was so an amazing place to stay. It was close to Acadia. I was working at the University of Maine and wanted to stay somewhere near the ocean. This was about an hour from the university and I didnt mind the drive. The place was beautiful. The room was perfect. I loved the wallpaper in my room. One of the mornings the host texted me saying there were fresh blueberry muffins on the counter if I wanted some. It was just a perfect place. I highly recommend.

        Absolutely beautiful and the bed was extremely comfortable! Highly recommend! Nearby activities: Walking, boating, airplane rides! Walkability: Plenty of trails close by in Mount Desert Island!

        If you want to sleep, don't book cabins 7 and 8, you will be directly on the street and will hear noise all night. Be careful, the photos of the room are taken with a wide angle and you realize when you are inside that number 8 is small, if you have two suitcases you won't be able to move! Small shower and very dated room. The doors to the room were even ruined. The only positive thing is that it has many TV channels, including Amazon Prime and the room was still clean. Unfortunately I didn't meet the owners as it was self check in. Outside are sooo beautiful After answer of the property, thank you for your reply, next time we will come back by you trying your remodeled cabins

        This is a wonderful place to stay. The location is perfect, right between Ellsworth and Bar Harbor! Apartment A was cozy, and clean. I loved the shared kitchen. The main house, complete with board games, puzzles, video games, a TV, couches and coffee tables, was quiet and extremely homey!

      Aloha Flavia.Since your stay we have renovated both cabins 7 and 8. I'm really sorry that it was noisy but we do have much better windows now and brand new doors. The summer cottages are indeed small so we can't really do anything about that sadly but we are very glad that you thought the accommodations were clean and you enjoyed the media package on the smart TV. If you have any other notes that can help future guests be happier and hopefully not give anything less than five stars, we would be greatful. 1.855.695.7070.
