Definitely would not recommend! Unless you want to pay a monthly fee to get their better service. Who the hell pays a monthly fee to a PCP? Thankfully I am not a patient here, but my husband and stepson are. It started a few weeks ago, I called on a Monday to make an appointment for my stepson, no answer so I left a voicemail. One week later with no return call, I called back. They said they didn't know why I wasn't called back. Also on this day, my husband had an appointment to see Christian, this was his second appointment and a follow up to the first. He originally went in with elbow pain. Still to this day, with numerous calls and requests for a referral to orthopedics he does not have one. Just today they called back after multiple attempts by my husband and said he would have to come for another appointment to have that request fulfilled. Why would he have to go in when they already know there is a problem. What an insurance scam this place is. What an absolute disgrace to the medical profession. It bad service doesn't just stop with the medical professionals at Aurora Healthcare. There is only 1 nice front staff worker and the rest are rude, disrespectful and almost always hang up on you.

FYI: I've tried to get Aurora health to accept my insurance, but as of yet they/she has done nothing, they/she has not taken the time to complete the paper work. Do yourself a favor and check with your insurance carrier and see if Aurora Health accepts your insurance before you go, as not to pay a big bill on your own.

I do not recommend this office to anyone. I have never been treated so poorly at a doctor's office in my life of 51 years. At the front desk, I tried handing my license to verify my name and address, and the attendant would not take it, but rather asked me to verify openly... I have a professional job, where my name address and phone number should not be announced in the waiting room where others can hear it. During visit Dawn was unprofessional, and unempathetic. Patients should be treated with respect. If you are like me, and prefer to be treated with respect, don't become a patient of this practice.

Aurora Healthcare has been the best primary care I've gone to. I have been seeing Dawn for around three years now I believe. Nobody before Dawn actually listened to me and helped me figure out ways to help with some of my health conditions. I see all these negative reviews and can't even fathom how they can speak this way about Dawn. To each their own and all that but wow. Dawn has helped with my pulmonary issues in a way that is a miracle! She got me into the dermatologist who got me a skin biopsy and figured out what I've been struggling with for years and has me on medication now that 100% clears up my hands and feet so I can walk and do dishes without crying. She's been incredibly attentive to my needs and has always listened to me from day one. I also can say she is great with children. I saw a review where a woman accused her of doing something, making it sound like it was done just to do it and got dhhs involved. I can say in my experience she is not going to lie or do something like that and If she has to report something it's for a good reason. She helped me with my daughter when she was troubled and we dealt with it. She contacted the crisis worker and we worked out a plan. I brought my child home until we could get her into a place to help. Dawn never made us feel uncomfortable or did anything out of line; she was fantastic and helpful. She is also very attentive and great with my youngest child during her appointments. If I call or message her in the portal she or one of her staff always calls me back or messages me back. Her staff have gotten all my referrals done and I've had many and Kelly who is also just amazing always gets my p.as done and if something is wrong and I contact them she is right on it. The staff Dawn has working reception etc now are all very sweet and on top of everything I need. The office is clean and organized. I have absolutely no complaints. I love you guys and thank you for making my primary care something I look forward to and not dread. You all rock!

I see your referring to Direct Primary Care: here is an explanation as to what Direct Primary Care is as you seem to be confused as to what it is. 1.) What is Direct Primary Care?Direct primary care uses a membership model to deliver health care services directly to patients. Direct primary care (DPC) doctors don’t bill or use insurance. Rather, patients pay a monthly membership of $50 to $100 to receive primary care services directly from a primary care provider. This is available to anyone who does not have insurance or has commercial insurance in which they have very high deductibles, and they choose not to use their insurance to get all the care provided in the office. DPC is becoming more popular across the country and has been around since the early 2000's and was first started in the Midwest. Patients know up front all their costs associated with being a DPC patient again INSURANCE IS NOT BILLED for DPC. As for your other complaints my staff has been instructed that if someone is yelling and swearing at them they do have the right to let the patient know if they don't stop they will hang the phone up and it is documented in the chart. As well as the requested referral, there is a process to every referral that gets sent to a specialist. They mandate what they want from a practice in order to accept that referral. All want a documented visit within 30 days of the referral for that specific reason, as well some form of testing whether it be imaging, labs, proof of physical therapy etc prior to the referral being sent. Once the referral is sent, then the referral team at the specialist's office will review the referral to determine whether or not to accept that referral. We want all the referrals accepted when we send them therefore there is sometimes a need for an additional visit to get all information, testing etc completed for that referral.
