Dovetail Preschool

Our family joined Dovetail in the fall and so grateful we were able join! Rita was so thoughtful during our search and when issues came up. We really appreciate it. All of the staff have been wonderful through this transition for our kids. Its been a great experience so far. Looking forward to watching our kids continue to grow and flourish at Dovetail.

This is our third year at Dovetail and we wouldn't think of going anywhere else! The teachers are so caring and truly work to get to know the unique needs of each child. The staff is responsive and communicative and we feel lucky to be part of the Dovetail community!

My son has gone to Dovetail for 2 years and loves it. The teachers are all very attentive and patient with the kids. Could not be happier with the program.

We have had a wonderful experience with Dovetail! Our son has benefited so much from his kind and talented teachers, as well as a curriculum which focuses on independent play, lots of time outdoors, and age-appropriate learning. As parents, we also really appreciate how clean and safe the school classrooms and playground are, the sense of community with other Dovetail families, and the monthly special enrichment experiences like visits from the Maine Audubon, yoga and music classes, and more. We're so glad we found Dovetail!

Dovetail has been a beacon of light for our family! Rita, the schools director, has always been accommodating in supporting our two sons through their early childhood experiences. The school excels at parent involvement and encourages parents to volunteer their talents. Additionally, the school gives opportunities for social connection, such as the recent pot luck and performances with the Theater Project. We are happy to be a part of the Dovetail family.
