BEWARE! Erick seems like a great guy unfortunately he has not followed threw with our contract. in March of 2022 we signed a contract for him to build me a log cabin. to be delivered in august of 2022. I gave him just over $8000. for a deposit I have seen nothing! He has continually not shown up every single time he says he is going to. all i get is excuse after excuse. i have been more than patient with him and have given more than enough chances to make it right. I'm done being Mr. nice guy. My next step is to press charges and let the court system deal with him. STAY CLEAR! !!!

My husband and I purchased a cabin from Elliot, and we were amazed by the extraordinary craftsmanship. Elliot not only delivered, as promised, but exceeded our expectations in every way. We would recommend Elliot to anyone who is looking for quality work, as well as, someone personable and easy to work with.

I signed a contract in February 2022 for Esnow Carpentry to complete 2 projects by May 10, 2022. 1 - to replace a set of stairs and 2 - to remove a deck and replace with a set of stairs. I paid a $900 deposit via check. I made contact with Elliot Snow, the owner, on 4 occasions via text message to make arrangements to start the projects. He did not show up on any of the days. In fact, he has never even been to my home and quoted the project based on pictures sent via text. I sent an email on June 1, 2022 to cancel the contract and request a refund. Elliot indicated he did not have the money to refund the deposit and later claims to have purchased materials. I requested that he provide me with the supposed materials and any remaining money. I sent another email on June 22, 2022 requesting that he provide the refund by June 30, 2022 which he acknowledged. As of today July 19, 2022 he has not made any attempts to refund the deposit. I have now made complaints with the Attorney Generals office and the Better Business Bureau. I will update my review if Elliot provides a refund as promised.

We hired Elliot Snow of E. Snow Carpentry to build a deck on a rental property that we own. The property is a vacation rental property during the summer. We signed a contract with Mr. Snow on 5/30/21. We had an agreement the deck would be completed by 8/6/21. Mr. Snow did not complete the deck by the August deadline. He tore down the old deck and left us with a dangerous, half-built deck with a makeshift staircase to enter the property (the only entrance). This resulted in us having to cancel 2-weeks of reservations and prohibited us from accepting any additional reservations for the remainder of the summer rental season. We lost a considerable amount of revenue. We sent many text messages & emails to Mr. Snow begging him to complete the project. He promised he would and seemed distraught that we might fire him. We had no choice but to fire Mr. Snow in September 2021. In trying to find another contractor to complete the work we were told by multiple contractors that the work that Mr. Snow had completed was unsafe. We hired a structural engineer from reputable firm located in Brunswick, Maine to assess the construction that Mr. Snow had completed. The assessment concluded that the structural integrity of the work Mr. Snow had completed was insufficient and the deck should come down to avoid it collapsing. We do not recommend E. Snow Carpentry. Mr. Snow does not have the skills or a reliable crew or transportation to build a deck, let alone anything more complicated. He is very polite and will tell you exactly what you want to hear but all of it results in nothing. Mr. Snow took $15,328 from us and we have absolutely nothing to show for it. UPDATE: We took Mr. Snow to small claims court in July 2022 and won our judgement. Mr. Snow had 30 days to pay, which he never did. Looks like Mr. Snow continues to be unreliable...
