      image Applied for my passport on 4/28/21 and was told 10-12 weeks. I then received an email from the US Department of State that they received my application on 6/9/21 and it is now taking 12 weeks to process and upto another 6 weeks for mailing. I don't understand why it took 42 days for them to receive it to start with and now they are saying 18 weeks. At this rate I'll be lucky to get it by November.
