    Since I've moved to this area, this is the second time that I've been racially profiled and followed around a store . My mom is in town and she loves Old Navy . Kailyn and Kathy made sure to keep extra eyes on us at all times. Kathy went so far as to follow us to the dressing room . We were the only African Americans in the store and all of the other customers were free to shop in peace and privately. I spoke with Kailyn about how disappointing the experience was and that sometimes people can be unaware of their biases. The excuse that she gave for us being followed around the store didn't make sense, but I didn't want to upset her bc that was not my intention. Kailyn if you get a chance to read this , the reason why I addressed you vs Kathy is bc you are the manager and you set the tone for quality customer service. I encourage you to diversify your staff to promote multiculturalism and to learn about cultural differences. In addition, Kathy is much older and her prejudice towards African Americans is probably hard wired. However, you have time to change for the better. I called a friend who is also a store manager and she advised me to call corporate and the key people to speak with , but I'm not going to do that bc we all need our source of income . I forgive both of you for yesterday's encounter. I pray that LOVE permeates your heart and hate dissipates. As a daughter who loves her mother, it was hard to watch her have to experience this type of treatment . If and when you have children please break the cycle ..........

    Title: Disappointing Experience with a Rude Cashier at Old Navy Rating: While Old Navy boasts a great collection of clothes, my recent shopping experience was marred by the shockingly rude behavior of one particular cashier. Despite my friendly and polite demeanor, it was evident from the start that she was not having a good day. I tried to remain understanding, but when it came time to pay and I expressed confusion over the discounts she mentioned, her condescending attitude made the situation even worse. I urge Old Navy to take immediate action and address the issue of disrespectful behavior among their staff. Customers should be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of the cashier's mood or personal circumstances. It is disheartening to see such a lack of professionalism in a customer-facing role, and I hope that my experience was an isolated incident. Old Navy can certainly recover from this setback by ensuring that all employees uphold the highest standards of customer service. I did see some cashiers working next to her that did uphold great customer service but everyone in line seemed just as shocked as I did when she decided to use superiority and arrogance to belittle me instead of taking accountability for the confusion between the us in the situation. Through the mocking and irresponsible I left her with an apology for asking a fair question and ended it with a Merry Christmas. I rarely ever leave bad reviews as I feel it renders a company but I hope no one else has to deal with this. My hope in this review is that the person I dealt with does see this and know her actions do stick with people. My mother always taught me from a young age to treat people the way you want to be treated and I hope she may follow this advice in the future when dealing with customers.
