        Authentic environment with reasonably priced food and general items. Also the best sub sandwich Ive ever had. Recommend the loaded steak sub. Breakfast was also wonderful - got the breakfast wrap. Staff goes above and beyond in service. I forgot a small bag with souvenirs at the table and they held it for me until the next day, not even knowing if Id be back. Great place! Glad I found it.

        They have the best chicken parm sub in Maine! It's so good I haven't tried anything else. One of the guys has tried the cuban and pastrami sandwiches and loved them Any time we're in southern Maine we go there. Usually the one on Congress street.

        First-timer at this local staple. Got a Roast beef and Swiss sub. Perfect proportion of meat and veg. And the bread!! Oh I feel so excited to find bread that made me feel like Im coming home. Kind and fast service. Ill be back.

But then you look at the kitchen, and the menu, and see that the food selection is varied and extensive with great family tradition and fantastic eats! This home-style variety store offers everything from breakfast, to lunch, to dinner, and has its own in house bakery, Sweets 'n Treats, with loads of goodies for your sweet tooth. We also offer a large catering menu, appealing to business breakfasts and lunches, and home catering, for that special party.
