I worked there as agency for One day and it was my last. They gave me 27 resident's. 27. On my first day. The crma is not required to help on the floor. State of Maine has ratios for a reason to avoid injury and burn out.1 to 5 is state of Maine ratios. There was no organization, report, or communication. Meal times where a disaster as they pile to go boxes with food on it with NO NAME. It was top 5 worse places I've ever worked in my life. They would constantly call you on the walkie talkie if you are fast enough in there eyes, to answer a bell instead of helping you and answering it. They didn't even try to replace the 2 call outs they had that day. And didn't even tell me until over an hour into my shift that I was alone.No matter how good or how long of a cna you have been. 27 residents to much for ONE person. Would not recommend to work there.

This company has no definition of organization. Upon hiring they will not tell you the schedule for the position until after your orientation. If you give them detailed scheduling information that you have to follow, they WILL NOT listen. They WILL NOT tell you the schedule and once you've been hired they will release the scheduled hours and state that they've already been given to you and refuse any claims that you had not known of any of the hours.
On top of this, upon interview, the interviewer stated one of the workers within the Portland ME residency was living within the Residency for free and interviewee was asked and pressed to offer a room to said worker living in the residence even after interviewee stated that would not happen.
