Portland Tutors: Math Tutor and Physics Tutor

Alex is currently tutoring our 9th grade daughter in Algebra 2 and we are really glad to have him, especially during COVID. Our daughter is super bright in all areas but math does not come easy and having 1-on-1 time with Alex has increased her confidence. Alex is always on time, prepared, and ready to teach concepts in a way she finds easy to understand. He is also super friendly and responsive to parent questions.

Alex was an excellent tutor! He was patient, easy to follow, and stayed at a pace that was just right for me. I was worried about feeling embarrassed about my math abilities, but he was very encouraging! He also shared some practical skills for the test Ill be taking (GRE). I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs support!

Alex is the husband of my longtime friend. I worked with Alex in a professional setting when he ran an after-school science club at the school that I was teaching. The kids loved the group and Alex was really engaging. I have used Alex as a resource and have recommended him recently to a friend looking to do GRE test prep. Alex was a great find for our Honors Physics student. Incredibly intuitive and works to find the missing gaps with your student in record time. He is flexible with scheduling and very responsive. We searched for a long time for a tutor of this caliber! You know a tutor is excellent when the student says thank you to his parents after each session!

My son is a junior in highschool and was having issues with Math after a few classes with Alex his grades started to improve, he'sa great tutor. I highly recommend his tutoring services.
