They did an amazing job adding insulation in our attic. Eveyone who came, for the quote and job, were very kind and sensitive. I had a newborn while they did the work, and I really appreciated it!

Greetings one and all at Evergreen Home Performance! I am writing to express my gratitude to all involved in my insulation project. From start to finish, I appreciate the universal theme which was maintained by each and every one of you, to ensure that my home was insulated and protected from freezing pipes as if it was your home. Andrea, thanks for helping me navigate my way to the project. Nate, thanks for the thorough initial assessment and the time you took to explain this project to me, step by step. Brian, thanks for setting up my project - so happy it was done in November! Jeff- thanks for managing it! Joel - thanks for your work and attention to detail to ensure that every nook and cranny was addressed. Thanks also for placing the famous bud light can in its new sacred spot. I am grateful for your daily updates and the pics of the project start to finish. I hope you understand that historically, I would lay in bed and experience anxiety during cold winter months, which now is alleviated. I am so grateful. I look forward to the final blower test results. I am also grateful to know that even though I won't likely need any follow up work, you would be here if I needed anything. Each of the Evergreen representatives, from Irene Flynn to the guys that showed up to do the work, were punctual, knowledgeable and thoroughly professional. Not only did they do the work as contracted, but pointed out some other concerns, including an abandoned oil tank that was rusting through and could have caused a spill and groundwater contamination if not promptly addressed, which we did. Great resource for home improvements; we'll use them again in the future.

Evergreen applied a spray-foam insulation in our old, field stone cellar. Additionally, they applied blown-in insulation in our attic crawl space. They performed a blower test prior to and after the insulation jobs, and these two simple insulations reduced our heat loss from our home by over 34%! I can't believe what an incredible difference this makes in reducing our use of the furnace for heating! And our house now feels warm; no sense of freezing floors or drafts in upstairs. Wow. The company is very professional in all aspects: assessment, scheduling, performance of contracted work, and most amazingly, they cleaned up after themselves!!! I've never had work-folk do that before. Finally, they did all of the work to apply for and have us receive the Maine Efficiency Rebate for our work. I am very satisfied, indeed.

I am a Forman in the midcoast branch of Evergreen Home Performance. We pride ourselves on helping the community reduce the amount of energy needed to heat and cool their homes. We will air seal any leaks found in attics and basements to reduce drafts before we blow in Cellulose. We are also versed in basement encapsulation to protect from moisture issues.
