Captain Nickels Inn

Captain Nickels Inn is a beautiful place to stay. The owner is very passionate and does an exceptional job hosting guests. The inn is immaculate and her breakfast is the best breakfast we have ever had. We booked two more trips while we were staying at the inn and cannot wait to continue to visit for years to come.

My boyfriend and I stayed here this past weekend for a Valentines weekend getaway and our experience was amazing! All the staff especially Dawn was so warm and welcoming and the service was amazing.The breakfast each morning was delicious and prepared so nicely. The rooms are well kept up with and very clean. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a weekend away!

My husband and I were married at the Captain Nickels Inn this past September and had a wonderful experience. Dawn is an exceptional host and worked with us in lieu of a wedding planner. As a millennial couple attempting to build a future, the value of the ceremony and our stay was a blessing and the grounds, rooms, service were so elevated. We love B&Bs but this was by far the most memorable. Dawn even offered us a free upgrade to a suite and we were overwhelmed by her generosity! We celebrated with our family friends at an intimate dinner next door at the Homeport Restaurant, serenaded by an Irish quartet. Overall, a magical event thanks to Dawn and the Captain Nickels Inn

My daughter and I stopped by for an overnight and absolutely loved it. The room was exceptionally beautiful and the breakfast was delicious and perfectly presented. We will definately go back. We each bought a mug so we can remember our stay. Dawn was very welcoming. Rooms: Decorated beautifully.

My boyfriend and I stayed here in the Harriet room. It was stunning! We were blown away from the second we pulled up for our stay. Dawn and her daughter worked so hard to make the home beautiful and warm. My boyfriend is an extremely picky eater but Dawn outdid herself every morning with breakfast. Waffles, strawberry butter, bacon cooked to perfection, fresh fruit, parfaits, breakfast tacos. We both loved starting our day with Dawns cooking and gazing out the window to the stunning ocean view. Not to mention snagging a homemade cookie during our visits to the coffee and tea station to end our night. Theyve really put a lot of effort and care into every last detail. Theres even a tavern onsite where you can grab a drink throughout the day. Theres lawn games and chairs placed throughout the entire yard. It feels very private. One of the highlights of our trip was watching the sunset on their dock and listening to audiobooks while drinking tea. It was an amazing reset from our fast-paced routine. I would definitely stay here again for my next trip to Maine and Ive recommended it to everyone Ive talked to.
