Hi Eric! I’m sorry I didn’t see an email in any of our accounts (spam included) to be able to respond to you personally, so hopefully you see this here. I’m not entirely sure when you called for your takeout, but we haven’t run out of pork since last week during our extremely busy restaurant week- We are a very small yet very busy neighborhood BBQ spot and we do sometimes run out of product!! We sometimes sell upwards of 25 pounds of pulled pork in a night- and keeping in mind that we have an overnight pit, and fairly limited space. It’s also in our practices to try and sell out or at least close to, to ensure that your bbq is a fresh as absolutely possible!I apologize for them not rehearsing the specials for you when you called in, it’s not a common practice, most customers will ask if they are interested! I can absolutely assure you we care here at Elsmere. We all love what we do and we love our customers- to say that we don’t is very upsetting..
