I had a very traumatic experience at the dentist several years ago, which has caused me to feel very fearful when going to the dentist. I even avoided going for years as a result of that. After talking about my experiences with others I was recommended to try Silver Street Dentistry. Im so glad I went! The team has been very professional with examining and providing solutions by priority. I recently had to get two fillings and Ben did a great job - I really felt that I was in good hands. He and his assistant kept me informed of the process as it was happening, which made me feel comfortable and eased my anxiety. Since coming here staff have been very gentle and kind to me regardless of my visit reason. Im so grateful! Thank you so much!!

Dr. Ben Manter is an exceptional human being. It is with my highest accolades that I wish to acknowledge the stellar work of Dr. Ben Manter. I was a healthcare professional at Stanford University Hospital, until a series of strokes and an inoperable malformed cerebral artery ended my career. I became a patient of Dr. Ben Manter as I recently developed a physiological disorder that led to the rapid decay and breakage of my teeth. I, like many of you, have extreme anxiety regarding dental appointments. Dr. Ben Manter is without exception, helpful, courteous, kind, considerate, and more compassionate than any dentist I have ever met. He is a consummate professional with a calm caring presence that is perfect for any patient, but especially helpful to patients like me, prone to anxiety/panic attacks. Dr. Ben Manter goes above and beyond for his patients and merits praise for the outstanding work ethic he displays. With empathy, Dr. Ben Manter listens to concerns and issues with an innate ability to render feelings of validity. He displays intellect, a gentle demeanor, and patience that is impressive by any standard. He has natural qualities that make him an invaluable healthcare professional and he deserves recognition for his contribution to the field of dentistry as well as his outstanding contribution to his community. Maine is truly fortunate to have him practicing dentistry here. It makes no difference whether I have questions or issues that need to be addressed, Dr. Ben Manter exudes a genuine and positive attitude that I greatly appreciate. Excellence is what Dr. Ben Manter embodies. He always treats me as a human being who matters. I wish to also give credit to the entire team at Silver Street Dentistry. During my first phone call, I spoke with Kelly from the front office. She was kind and patient. Kelly could sense my fear, which was eased by the lovely manner in which she spoke with me. She gave me the courage to make that first appointment. I also wish to give much credit to Sylvie, the dental assistant, for giving me the courage to continue making appointments. She is a priceless jewel in this dental practice. Sylvie is a phenomenal human being and extraordinary healthcare professional. Her heart is as big as her knowledge and abilities. I specifically ask for her when I make appointments. With Sylvie I feel safe, accepted, and understood, even with my cerebral deficits. She is like a human security blanket to me. My dream team, Dr. Ben Manter and Sylvie. They are the best of the best in the state of Maine. I applaud their dedication to their work. I marvel at their communication skills. That being expressed, I am mostly in awe of their kindness and warmth which they conduct themselves with during all appointments. I am deeply grateful knowing I can fully trust these standout healthcare professionals. I feel blessed to have the exceptional Dr. Ben Manter as my dentist. A simple thank you is all I have, but it could never really be enough. From a former trauma R.N. at a top 20 U.S. Hospital, I can say with complete certitude that this dental practice receives my highest recommendation. Our family has been coming here for decades! The amount of care, compassion and professionalism always exceeds any expectations. The office personnel, the hygienists, the assistants and the Drs all share this level of compassion and I am forever grateful for how they treated my parents, myself and my children! Thank you for remaining consistent over the years and for the quality of care!
