Without any notice they increased our propane price after being locked in an agreed upon price. We cancelled our service & they got the tanks in good time. Sept. we followed up for a refund for the unused propane and we were told itd take 8-12 weeks. Why does it take that long? We are still waiting! Not happy with this companys policy. Not a good way to get business.

Can't wait until they get held accountable for their ridiculous pricing and "hazmat" fee. Paid my bill before ordering fuel, then still get an invoice. I used them in a pinch, but hopefully never again.

They are getting three stars from me because my first experience with them this year was positive. They sent out a tech. They dropped off two tanks. My first order was a great price. I recently got fired for something I said on Facebook so I was in desperate need of help. I qualified for heating assistance due to my past job Applebee's only giving me 25 hours week. So I got roughly 550$ of heating assistance. I also struggle with my mental health so getting the help meant the world. This week I ran out of propane and money so I had to go roughly 5 days with no heat in January. Down east wouldn't bring the propane cause an error with the credit happened delaying delivery. They charged the state $5.72 per gallon for the state help fuel assistance. With the high price I only was able to receive 96 gallons. I'm extremely grateful for the help but why do y'all need to profit off my misfortune. You let me run out of heat for five days. I was using my oven burners to keep heat and I could have burned my house down but in this life no one cares. Luckily yesterday I believe a manager drove a truck out and delivered. They delivered yesterday after five days with no heat. My point of this is why did you have to charge my fuel assistance 5.72. That seems real high for any fuel. I get the wars are driving prices up but why do you need to profit off my sad desperate situations. I literally have 15$ to my name. Otherwise pretty good company but they do have staff on the phone that can be rude. Like when I called to ask to talk to a manager. They said one would call which no one called me back. One young women on the phone rudely said " we didnt have a deal" she was rude and wouldn't drop the 5.72 price. That's highway robbery for a heating program for the poor. You should help people like me without needing profit cause I'm the one sitting on fifteen dollars to my name. Id like to thank kvcap and down east for the fuel assistance. Hoping they will change there policy and stop price gouging the heating assistance program cause it meant way less help for me at that rate. I burn two gallons per day on average. That's a small home. Thank you.

We are on automatic delivery. Our in ground tank was getting low so we call for an update on delivery. Was informed that we would get a delivery that next week. At the end of the next week we still hadn't received a delivery. On Friday of that week a major storm had started in the morning. We called to see if delivery was going out that day. We were informed that the trucks would not be going out but would be there on Saturday. That would give us time to clean up after the storm. An hour later a truck showed up to deliver in 6 inches of fresh snow. The driver backed up our driveway, which is on an incline. Driver did chalk the wheels and proceeded to drag the hose to the tank. As he was filling the tank he heard a noise and looked to see his truck sliding down the hill. He proceeded to unhook the hose from the tank. The truck ended up on our front lawn and the hose took out our 25 foot flag pole. When we contacted the company, we were told that it wes not the fault of the driver and would not go good to replace the flag pole. This is from a company that is charging almost twice the rate of the state average for propane.
