My wife and I were first-time buyers, moving back to Maine from Florida. We'd worked with a few different realtors who were all surprisingly unresponsive. I started reading reviews, and it sounded like Matt Sivret might be just the guy we needed--as it turned out, he was actually better than what we thought we were looking for. Having never bought a home before, we needed someone with experience, who would think of all the things we wouldn't think to consider. And being over 1500 miles away, we needed someone of integrity, that we could trust to be our eyes and ears throughout the process. What we really needed, was someone who cared. From my earliest email conversations with Matt, it was apparent that he checked all those boxes. He gave his honest opinion at every turn throughout the process. He never acted as a salesman, but as a consultant and advocate. We've been in our new home for about a month and couldn't be happier. Looking back on our journey, contacting Matt was the decision that made everything fall into place. He worked very hard for us, responding to emails late at night (if you're reading this, you really ought to get more sleep, Matt), and constantly following up with other involved parties. I even got in a tight spot, the day after closing. Matt checked on the house and noticed the previous owner left the oil tank empty with freezing temperatures heading into Thanksgiving weekend (and we were still in Florida!) I managed to find one oil company who would deliver and Matt came out early in the morning to unlock the house for them and lock it back up after they were done. The sale was already complete, but that's just the kind of guy Matt is.

Matt Sivret is most helpful and patient in helping me, a first-time buyer for a condo purchase regarding both the purchase and related logistics. I was in town for viewing only for two days, then traveled for work for almost two months. With Matt's help, I was able to negotiate, figure out the finance, and do the inspection, so that I could simply sign the transaction and move in the first day back to town. After finishing the transaction, Matt still addressed my further questions in a timely manner. He is a great example of helpfulness and professionalism. I feel lucky to have the chance working with him and to know his new office just opened in Waterville.

We worked with Matt Sivret on purchasing a home. He listened to the requirements & delivered. He was very responsive to calls & texts.
