Working with Tim Darling was fantastic! He was recommended to us by a few locals. Long established family business. From the initial meet to the clean-up at the end, we were so happy with his expertise and work ethic. He explains everything as he goes, and shares his knowledge & opinions. But always leaving it up to the customer to decide. Plus, he's just a nice guy!! Thanks, Tim, for our new septic tank and leech field. Come by any time to just relax! N & P

Late this past fall 2022, I was notified by the water district (KKWWD) that my house in Wells appeared to be using water at an increased rate. I had one of their technicians come out to my property and we narrowed it down to a leak in my water line. Now mind you, my house was built in the 1960s about 75 yards down off of Rt 1 which meant my water line was 75 yards long. They could not determine where the leak was, we shut off the water and I was advised to hire an excavator to dig up the line to trace the leak. Never having used an excavator contractor, I asked the technician if he could recommend a local contractor and he provided a few names, one being Tim Darling of the Darling Industrial Group. I called A few and unlike the others, Tim picked up the phone. We discussed my waterline problem and he mentioned that it was late in the season, the ground about to freeze and the job might have to wait until late winter early spring of 2023, but he would take a look at it and get back to me. He was back in touch within a week, stated he had spoken with the water district and found out that there was a new water main directly across the street from my house, had spoken with the water district who indicated I would be allowed to tap into this rather than dig up the old 75 yard line. He spoke with the sewer district and an abutting land owner, receiving approvals to move ahead. We made arrangements and luckily with good weather went ahead installing the new line the first week of January 2023. Tim went above and beyond in doing all the necessary legwork, completing paperwork with the water and sewer district as well as working with the abutter to obtain their approval. It was amazing to watch his skill of digging down and running the line under the existing street and threading it up into my house. He had also arranged to have the water district tech come up and connect the new water meter. Tim is very easy to talk to, knows his stuff, kept me informed throughout the process and a pleasure to do business with. I would highly recommended him for any excavating services you might need.
