Stayed here for a wedding. Guest services Mr Carlton definitely elevated my stay here. He was very helpful and attentive. The room was clean but the floor could have been vacuumed better. Overall a good experience here.

This hotel is in an old mansion downtown. The location is great. My bed was comfortable , and the bathroom was modern. I can't speak to the other rooms in this hotel, but my room was really odd. I saw I was being put at ground level, which I do not like. I was told at the front desk that this was a great "suite". I was also told that the windows don't open, so it was okay, and that there were no other rooms! I walked into the room and was really shocked, as this is part of the IHG group. The ceilings must have been 20 feet high at least. There was a small sitting room, an area with a sink and Keurig coffee maker, and a nice modern bathroom. The furniture was 1960 suburban house-style, and not particularly new. The actual bedroom was up a long flight of steep stairs. The bed itself was fantastic, with great linens. Again, there was the same style of furniture. This is a really odd room. I only slept there two nights, and was out all day, but it was really a rather dated room. There was also a lot of street traffic noise. I did ask at the front desk how best to get to the airport at 4 a.m., and was told it was easy to take the light rail into the airport....Really? I will also add that while the bathroom was clean and the bed new, the floors were dirty and dusty. Would I stay there again if I had a choice? The answer would be no.

Hotel Indigo Baltimore Downtown, an IHG Hotel

The cultural heart of Baltimore beats loudly at Hotel Indigo Baltimore – Mt. Vernon. Our neighborhood is a hub of Charm City history and arts, and our boutique hotel reflects the area’s vibrancy with every detail. Relax with a book (by hometown author Edgar Allan Poe, perhaps) in our lobby library. Sip a locally sourced cocktail at our restaurant, Poets Modern Cocktails & Eats. Sleep under a literary-themed mural in your guest room. And step outside to explore all Mt. Vernon has to offer, from the Washington Monument of Baltimore to the Walters Art Museum. We also offer easy access to top Baltimore attractions including the Inner Harbor, Oriole Park at Camden Yards and the National Aquarium. For business travelers, we have more than 4,000 square feet of versatile meeting space and close proximity to the Baltimore Convention Center and major companies such as IBM, Under Armour and Transamerica.
