Just heard as well that Behnke's is closing. I just started coming here for about 2 years and they are seriously the best nursery I've ever been to! I always call this plant Disney world because it is so magical. Even the last time I came I felt so jittery (as if I had a lot of coffee and even though I had none), all because I was so happy and excited to be there. Their amazing variety of healthy plants ranging from small to large, indoor and outdoor, and succulent to house plants are unbeatable. But putting their plants aside, the staff are also amazing, knowledgeable, and nice people! I will miss them so much!! They've really helped me to grow my originally non-existent green thumb. 😍😭

The best garden store in the DC Metro area. I go to Behnke's not only for the beautiful healthy plants and plant variety but for the gardening advice from the expert staff that works there. They answer even the most complex questions about all aspects of gardening and on any plant for the garden that you can think of. Customer service is excellent. I am really going to miss Behnkes.

So sorry that it is closing. Great selections and great staff. Has been my "go to" place for 31 years.

Great place to buy plants and garden supplies. Very knowledgeable staff, as well. Too bad it closed.
