I recommend Pet-U-Cation and Savannah to any dog owner or dog lover as frequently as possible! My dog, Zeus, and I have been attending classes and he has been going to daycare weekly at the facility since he was almost a year old in early 2021. Her classes help train both dogs and their owners to bring the best out of each other. Savannahs lessons/classes often include bonus time because shes dedicated to helping dog owners truly understand why their dogs do what they do and how to effectively communicate with their dogs. Savannahs methods for training are tailored specifically to your dog and your goals for their training. Pet-U-Cation is a unique facility that offers not just daycare and classes, but teaches the owners about dog behavior awareness in daily life and provides a safe space for ANY dog to learn how to dog appropriately in public and at home. Clients are encouraged to interact in group format and analyze dog behaviors together, which has resulted in the PUC fam and a true support network of owners.

There is no better place to train your dog (and yourself, as a dog owner/handler) in the Baltimore area. We went to two different trainers before we finally made it to PUC and Savannah and the dedicated team made a huge difference in our understanding of what our Ginny pup needed and how we could all be successful. We have done private lessons, OSR days, and the canine good citizen class, all of which were great experiences. We still enjoy dropping in for Sunday Wellness classes and the occasional additional class or series. If you feel like you don't know how to get your dog to do what you want them to do, PUC is the place to go (but fair warning: both you and your dog have to work hard!)

After trying a few other local dog training facilities, I finally found one that has worked for me and my dog. PuC has done wonders for my reactive pup. She is now able to walk past other dogs without having a hissy fit. I love that they offer a day program that is structured and focused on training. I highly recommend PuC!

We love the folks at Pet-u-cation. We brought our rescue pup Stanley there several months after we adopted him. He was impossible to walk, extremely vocal, not doing well with crate training and reactive with other dogs when on leash. After a few private lessons, attending sunday wellness and utilizing on-site rehabilitation we had the skills to work with Stanley on these things. He now walks calmly on a loose lead, barks minimally on walks, sits when asked, understands boundaries around the front door, and goes peacefully into his crate. The staff at Pet-u-cation treated us like family. Extending our training time when needed, checking in on us and taking care of our little man like hes their own. I highly recommend them!

I am so fortunate that when I searched for help with my anxious, reactive dog 5 years ago, Pet-U-Cation was so close to me. I don't think there is any other place that I could have gone that has the structure and patience to help with so many different kinds of dogs. I learned quickly that if my dog was going to be helped, I needed to put in the work. There are so many opportunities to learn and grow here with your dog. I spent so much time frustated and upset before attending the center. Today I look back so thankful for finding this special place. My dog is always going to be a little quirky and anxious, but I've gained the knowledge on how to communicate with him and make life easier on both of us. He has grown leaps and bounds in his confidence and obedience since starting here. If you are having difficulty training or simply want a more structured atmosphere for daycare, I can't recommend them enough.
