John V Louis DMD, LLC

My wife experienced bleeding gums as a result of contracting Bullous Pemphigoid, an immune system disease that was confirmed by her dermatologist via biopsy. Our family dentist recommended Dr. John V. Louis at the Center for Specialized Dentistry for treatment of her gums. Dr. Louis is the only dentist in the Delmarva Peninsula that treats gum diseases and he does not take dental insurance. He ordered a second biopsy that confirmed the initial diagnosis, a waste of time and money. Dr. Louis charged exorbitant fees of $500 and up for each visit, including a cleaning. We spent $2,000 at this facility essentially for nothing. Once my wife began treatment with our dermatologist, her gums healed nicely and she has had no more problems with them. I would not recommend the Center for Specialized Dentistry or Dr. John V. Louis to anyone in need of periodontic care. This is a business that charges exorbitant fees for unsatisfactory results.

Great staff! Always very friendly & knowledgeable. Hard to believe I enjoy going to see the the dentist. Dr Lewis is always looking to prevent future problems. Great guy! Top notch services
