This place is a total hidden gem. My husband and I stayed in the Longwood suite and it was very spacious and lovely. Staff was so friendly and the breakfast was awesome! Our check in and check out process was super easy and we absolutely plan on staying here again.

2 of my friends stayed here 2 different times an recommend it to me. Me and my boyfriend stayed here for one night in the Brandywine suite, it was so nice its very old fashion and just so beautiful. We had such a peaceful night, the large spa tub was awesome, we are both 6ft + and we fit just snug but it was perfect. Workers are very friendly. There are trails outside which we walked an it was so beautiful it led to the water! I will say the room was very pricy at 290 for 1 night, that would be my only complaint, but I will stay here again. Walkability: There are trails to walk on a one leads to the water. Food & drinks: This location is close to many fast food places and stores.

This is our 5th or 6th time going to the B&B and I will not go to another as long as I live in MD. Is the place haunted, you bet your bottom dollar. Is it romantic, YES 1000%. Is it remote? As remote as one can be and be near fast food and shopping. There are walking trails, so golf putting greens, perfect wedding venue if you want beauty and space. There is not one thing here I would change. Rooms: All are themed and beautiful. Noteworthy details: 1 word: MASSAGE...this place has an in house massage therapist. Need to get away alone? Perfect. Want a girls spa weekend? Perfect. Want a relaxing romantic couples retreat? PERFECT. Breakfast is served in the am.

I love staying at Elk Forge Inn with my dog. They have a couple of dog-friendly suites that have private entry. I love that there is a trail right on the property to walk my dog.

The hotel is pretty during the day but creepy at night. We knew it was a contactless hotel, but it was still weird. My husband said it was creepy. A lady did come out when we came and did say hi. We assumed she worked there since she did not introduce herself. When we walked in the Baltimore the room smelled like smoke (in a smokeless hotel). There were stains on the mattress sham and the water from the sink in the bathroom did not smell good( I am assuming it is well water). The floor tiles were coming up by the tv. The breakfast was the best part of what I could eat (waffles and fruit). The French toast casserole could have been cooked a little longer and the egg Florentine was not good. An old gentleman came out and spoke to people I am assuming he was the owner or hotel manager (he did not introduce himself). I really wanted to complain but I did not since it was my husbands birthday and our anniversary. I would not recommend this place unless you go in and see the room before you book it. This was my first time at a B&B and Im disappointed . Safety: Front door is open at night needs more lighting outside Walkability: No elevator that I saw
