We recently moved from Alexandria VA to western Massachusetts and decided to work with Commonwealth Movers. Best decision we could have made! Kevin came to our house to discuss our needs and prepare an estimate. We asked for full-service packing and a split shipment (sending some items to our son in eastern MA). The team of Javier, Miguel and Ishmael handled everything flawlessly! They were fast, efficient and friendly through the whole process of packing, loading and unloading. They were able to pack and load our three-bedroom condo in a single day, and everything arrived in great condition. As we opened each box in the following days, we were impressed with their professional origami, the way that each item was protected by a few folds or twists of packing paper. We particularly appreciated the relationship of trust that the whole team, including Kevin and Faith, built with us. Thanks folks - and all of this was just before Christmas - you made sure we had a home for the holidays!

We used Commonwealth Movers in May 2022 to move the contents of two houses. They were great! Super helpful, super polite, patient when we had to change rooms for certain furniture, absolutely no damage to items or to house. The foreman was communicative about times and flexible when things needed to be changed. We also had them do some packing, and again, that was great. I've had lots of less-than-great experiences with movers, but I'd wholeheartedly recommend Commonwealth.

Commonwealth Movers were great for our local Northern VA move. Their prices were on par with other quotes we received, so we ended up choosing them because they had the best communication - and we're glad we did. On the day of the move they showed up early, were fast and efficient, and finished in even less time than was initially estimated.
