Antietam Valley Dental Center: Dr. Robert J. Robertson, D.D.S

At one time this might have been the place to go. since Dr. robertson has had medical issues, his staff are neglecting their dutiers, not informing the patients and stated they are swamped and unable to handle their work load. I would look somewhere else for work on your teeh. Your teeth will fall out before you get an appointment with this service.

Incredibly unprofessional. Canceled multiple appointments without notice. Called the day of to inform me that my insurance was no longer accepted and they canceled my kids appointments that was on their third rescheduling (all on their end) now I am scrambling to find a provider.

I wish I can give this place a ZERO!! I went to this place as a new patient mid March 2022 since I was getting braces and while the doctor was cleaning my teeth he chipped my back teeth. It must have been intentional cause he kept trying to find cavities in my teeth and I kept telling him I dont have cavities. Today, August 5, that back teeth that he chipped finally came out now I have a small space between my back teeth. Im definitely not going back before they cause more damage to my teeth. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone!!

I feel I need give a review on this office in Hagerstown MD. My husband and I have always been seen by Dr.Robertson up at the Hancock MD office. After covid we had to be seen at the Hagerstown office. When we pulled into the parking lot, I'm looking around ( saying to myself am I at the right address? Husband and I walked in and I was shocked out how Dirty the place was! The lady at the front desk, had no clue where paperwork was at... The Dept card machine wasn't working, the lady handed me paperwork to fill out ( as if we were a new client?) Stuff just pilled everywhere, my husband wanted to leave at this point! They just acted like no one knew what they were doing! (Seriously) when he finally got called back, she took a x-ray of the wrong tooth! Dr.Robertson assistant told her redue x-ray! My husband said sitting in that chair looking around at the equipment was so old... They had rust on 1 piece of equipment that could tell it had been spray painted, he never seen Dr.Robertson, some other guy. Finally he said I'll give you a referral to have that tooth pulled?( Ok whatever) by this time we just wanted out of this place!! Get a referral on 3/22 the x-ray was too be sent over to the oral surgeon and they still have not sent it!! I have called 2 times and left message about my husband up coming appt with the surgeon and the oral surgeon office has tried 3 times contacting them.. with No response. What a joke of a facility!! There office should be shut down! Finally the oral surgeon office as of Friday 4/15/22 said we have tried multiple times to reach there office with no response.. we will do your husband x-ray at no charge to us! I responded we really appreciate this! But all I can say is.. my husband and I will be finding a new Dentist! Such a shame my husband and I really like Dr.Robertson.

I've been going to Dr Robertson's for years and I've always been happy with my service, but since his absence I haven't seen the same dentist twice. I saw Dr Sam, when I came in with a broken tooth, and he told me I needed a crown. $1,200. Rather than travel an hour away from where I live, I chose to find a closer dentist who repaired my tooth for $400.
