Attorney Tucker talks a good game and is actually extraordinary in court. His biggest problem is he has taken too many cases to get money because he is in serious financial trouble. Charles does not work on any cases, and have charged clients for other employees work for the past 6 years. He has defrauded me a an employee and as a client. He likes to use services of his clients and pay them nothing for him representing them. That would not be an issue if you actually go to know your case. Myself and most of the clients I have had interactions with have done the work on cases ourselves. He even does this to clients who pay. He speaks to his clients with disrespect and he acts like they are bothering him when they attempt to speak of contact him. Charles' reputation is not what it used to be 3 years ago. He lies to other attorneys, he lies to judges, and he makes his staff lie to clients. He does not appropriate his monies fairly and it seems he does not have a diverse work environment. He is very flirtatious and is alleged suspected of sleeping with many female employees and students. He even made a pass at a young lady under the age of 18. Do you trust Charles Tucker Jr or the Cochran Firm of Hyattsville or the Tucker Moore Law group. He will look at you and then determine what he thinks you should pay. And will not deliver on any work.

You are better off representing yourself. I did all the work.Then I had to file a grievance. Horrible experience. Take my advice, find another attorney.

And legal malpractice lawsuit: Mortley vs. Tucker, New York Supreme Court, Quuens County Part 36, Slip Op 32577.
At best Attorney Charles Tucker is an incompetent attorney, at worst he is just simply a con man. He bumbled a winnable case that left me holding the bag without any guidance or explanation.
My case took place in the State of Virginia, where he is not licensed to practice. Attorney Tucker utilized "pro hac vice" under an attorney named Alexander Taylor who is licensed to practice in Virginia; he did not notify me of this. For my official filing he incorrectly put the wrong name of the defendant (and this is after weeks of sending in documents and communicating over the phone of who the defendants were). When I did discover the error, he told me that he would do an amendment to get it corrected, he never did.
At one point I had to submit and interrogatories form to him. I faxed it 3 days before his deadline. Approximately 6 days later he called me and told me that he did not receive it. I later discovered while at his office that there was a problem with this fax machine; one of his administrative assistants was communicating this with another attorney present in the office.
Attorney Tucker brought in one of his clients (he called her an investigator) to prep me for my deposition. Not knowing policy, I took his word that she could do it. I was not prepared by a knowledgeable person. After my deposition, attorney Tucker told me that the judge had ruled that my case was dismissed on a summary judgment. I told him that I wanted to appeal. He told me that I had to wait until the judge signed the official order. He failed to notify me when the document was submitted to the court. I found out while searching online 9 days later that the judge had filed his official order. In talking to him he seemed completely lost. When I called his so-called investigator, she told me that I needed to set up an escrow of $10,000 before we proceeded. I asked her why didn't Attorney Tucker mention this to me on the last several occasions that we had talked over the phone. She told me that I needed to talk to him.
I servered ties with Attorney Tucker, I asked him to send me my documents. I received a box full of documents that were all mixed up. I found documents that belong to five other of his clients along with their personal information. I believe that he purposely mixed up the documents to sabotage my appeal.
I would recommend that you not retain Attorney Tucker to represent you, it will be disastrous.
