Terrible. My son went for one day and was removed immediately. I did not like staff at all or Ms. Carla. Staff to student ratio was unacceptable.

Little Miracles was a huge part of our lives for the last four and a half years. Our son absolutely thrived there and the staff has been like family to us. Our kiddo hit and blew past all the learning milestones we would expect and has been crushing it in kindergarten because of his time there. Would give more than five stars if I could.

My daughter has been at this daycare for a little over a year.  We are so lucky to have found Ms. Carla and Little Miracles.  As a new mom and coming out of the pandemic, I was more than anxious to send my little one to a daycare.  Little Miracles has been wonderful for my daughter and for our family. When we were first looking for daycare centers, we were struggling to find a center that we could afford and one that had room.  Within an hour of contacting Ms. Carla that first summer, we were able to hear back from her and schedule an appointment to see the facility.  At the time, we needed to tour while there were no kids there (of course due to the pandemic), but we were so thrilled by how our daughter took to Ms. Carla. When our daughter started, Ms. Carla assured us that our little one was happy and cared for by sending picture updates and all the fun little crafts home.  She was active, learning, and playing.  Our little pandemic baby was so fulfilled.Besides for all the crafts, ABCs, counting, now days of the week and months my little one knows (she astounds me every week by the new things she is learning) - Ms. Carla is the one who potty trained my baby and helped us follow the routine at home.  Without her, I have no idea how I would have done it.  Seriously, she knows kids and she is the professional.Ms. Carla has been steadfast with her Covid protocols and this has helped her daycare stay safe and clean for all kids.  The center is much smaller than other comparable centers which is best for our daughter.  Ms. Carla and her team is attentive, caring, and treats all kids like her own.As a family, we deeply appreciate her service, her love towards our little butterfly, and her guidance and grace for us as new parents to support us in this journey together.

Our child was at this daycare for 6 months and it was quite the learning experience. Don't be fooled by all the good reviews. This is our first child and our first daycare experience. Now I try to be fair, so I will say that most of the time the owner, Mrs. Carla (MC), had a pleasant disposition. And while her daycare wasn't a long term solution for our 18-month-old son, we decided to support her and her business. As parents, in addition to positive reviews for a daycare you may also want a caring and stimulating environment. While we were allowed to come in to the "facility" once, as opposed to many other daycares that were more welcoming and open, we couldn't speak to how stimulating the environment was. A few photos sent home showed our son looking bored a lot. The curriculum was a secret as well. I tried asking for it, but I'd get inconsistent responses or vague statements. Unfortunately, we had no idea what he was learning and thus couldn't reinforce much at home. When we first met her, she told us that there would be 4 workers there, but in the 6 months we only saw 2, herself included, for a group of maybe 10-15. Had we known the teacher/student ratio would be this big, we never would've agreed. My son was injured on her property on 2 occasions. In both cases, he was running and fell. What's odd about this is that when we would come to pick him up she'd stop him from running as if she were concerned about his safety, yet on multiple occasions she allowed him to run on a concrete sidewalk all the while knowing that he had a tendency to fall. When we brought this to her attention, she basically shrugged and said something like "kids get hurt". I do know this is true as we've seen our son get hurt while actively watching him. However, we go out of our way to try to prevent future occurrences, which we didn't see from MC. In fact, she was defensive, showed no empathy despite being a mother herself, and blatantly asked us "what's your point?" when we were asking her how this could happen. Unfortunately, we felt our child was no longer in an environment where we could expect the workers to try to keep him safe. There were other examples of behavior that spoke to negligence on her part. Our son has asthma and MC assured us that she could give him his medicine properly, she didn't despite being given written instructions. She didn't know how to work an inhaler despite all assurances to the contrary. We disclosed that our son has eczema and his skin is very sensitive. That didn't stop her from deciding, on her own, to put unapproved medication on his skin without first seeking our consent. Lastly, you want established policies and consistent rules. Tuition rates are not posted and everyone doesn't pay the same fee even if the children are the same age. It's whatever she chooses. At the beginning of September, we had to provide our son with various school supplies. When we pulled him from the daycare, a month later, she initially tried to keep his supplies despite his name being on them. She seemed surprised that we would insist on getting these brand-new supplies, many of which had yet to be opened. I guess she wanted to keep them for her own use. Also, daycare providers are supposed to write up an incident report when your child is hurt on their property and while in their care. After the first fall, no incident report was written. After the second fall, we did request a report and discovered that not only should we have gotten reports for both incidents, but it's the owner's responsibility to report these incidents to the county. MC did not strike us as the kind of person that is very professional and consistent. We scratch our head on these reviews and have assumed that people have either allowed her to get away with her lackadaisical attitude, or they just trusted her. Her prices are cheap; we were quoted $475/week when we first started looking; which later turned into $525/week when we decided to send our child there. The point here is that you get what you pay for, so beware!
