I had to replace my entire HVAC system (air handler and heat pump). I used a program through my home warranty company which connected me to Fick's. From the person who answered my calls (Maddie), and there were a lot of calls from me having questions, to the two technicians who came out and installed the new unit, the company was very professional. I am very happy with how it has worked out so far.

Just realized I never gave this company a review. Fortunately, I haven't needed them in quite sometime but when I did use them, they were always prompt, friendly and affordable. Gave us THE best Price to replace our entire heating and a/c system. I can not recommend them enough. Services: HVAC system maintenance, A/C system maintenance

If I could give finks mechanical 10 stars I would this is gonna be a long review fair warning. in July 2023, when the storms had gotten really bad, our air conditioner had stopped running. We contacted American home shield warranty. Needless to say this has been a nightmare with American home shield. They sent out a company called United air temp if American home shield ever tries to send this company to your house please decline and ask for another one technician came out and caused over $3000 worth of damage so try to make this a short as possible. They sent out another company American home shield and the company said there was too much work that needed corrected from the last technician that was out it was not worth their time, this is American home shield again so after they denied fixing it which the contractors can deny if it is a job that is not worth their time or is not feasible, and I understand that as dealing with American home shield warranty, he was honest upfront, so we had to go back to American home shield, and they needed a second opinion it sat in arbitration for over six months as they did not want to cover the damages that they caused never really had an issue with them until then since we have been without an air conditioner and our heater went out furnace excuse me and we spent Christmas and New Years and longer without heat after spending numerous amounts of money to keep the house, warm and animals as we had two baby kittens, and a big cat who was sick and I had medical issues going on as well and other circumstances do inconvenience they actually gave us a pic of which contractor we preferred we had dealt with finks in the past so the name rang a bell, so I instantly went with them. I had the pleasure of speaking with a very pleasant young lady named Maddie, and she literally took the bull by the horns on this one she got the ball Rolling on this faster than any representative at American home shield couldve ever of done. I have the upmost respect for her as if it was not for her. We probably still would be dealing with this situation. Finks came out Very pleasant kind funny no problems at all and I had to say I am highly impressed. It was nice to sleep in a house with heat and its all because of finks they were actually able to install a new air conditioner and furnace in the same day and they even cleaned up their mess. No problems no question asked I recommend this company to anyone and everyone for people leaving negative reviews. Just remember youre going through American home shield. They are the ones that set up everything dont blame the contractors, thank you very much finks

I cant say enough bad things about my experience with Ficks Mechanical. I was paired with this company by my home warranty company American Home Shield (who is also partially at fault here). There have been so many unfortunate events that have occurred with this interaction that I dont know where to start. The first technician misdiagnosed a failing compressor in my air conditioner in June. After the unit was properly diagnosed, the replacement compressor was ordered. It is almost October. The summer is over and the misdiagnosed failing compressor is still not fixed. Not only is that unit not fixed, they said the other unit needed a part that had to be replaced and I have not heard ANYTHING from them since they made that diagnosis. So, both units are out, there is no climate control in the house, and I can only say these people dont care because they have never voluntarily provided me any information regarding progress on completing this job or the lack thereof. I spent the entire summer sweltering in the hottest weather in recorded history and I heard NOTHING from the people at Ficks Mechanical as it pertained to when my anguish will end, stating on many occasions (after I would initiate communications) that they didnt, have an update, for me. Not only have they not fixed my air conditioner, they took two weeks to fix a hole they put in the ceiling of my bedroom (See pictures below). To their credit, they have since fixed the hole, which will be helpful as the weather begins to turn cold.
