Had a great experience with Pinder Home Services. They replaced all my rusted and leaking cast iron waste pipes and ensured the house was to code. Also added some extras for clean outs and turn offs to ensure our old house was easy to work on if future issues arise. Would highly recommend. They were on time, schedule, and in scope.

Was not disclosed is price was $175 an hour with a 2 hour minimum prior to completing the work. Charged me $350 to unclog a toilet that took 30 minutes (auger needed). This was NOT a holiday. Also discussed the valve on the toilet needed to be replaced which I though he did, but in fact only "recommend replacement." When later asked about the outrageous charge by my Husband after i showed him the bill when he got home from work, no reasoning provided. Also claimed we did not pay on the spot, which I offered to pay by card and he refused, he has his reasons, but I then offered to bring him payment to his next job since he was in a hurry and because I left my check book at home. He said not to worry about it and to put it in the mail. I believe a 2 hour minimum along with the hourly rate needs to be disclosed prior to the job being complete.

Work agreed. Charges seem fair. End result next week will tell it all. Exudes confidence. No wishey washie small talk. Frank, to the point. Get the job done can do attitude.
