AMAZING GRACE!! After taking a nice hot shower in order to get ready for work, my tub faucet would NOT turn off & water was coming down fast! It seemed like the more i tried to turn the faucet to off the more water kept pouring out. I totally Panicked! I Googled plumbers in Waldorf & came across R&D plumbing. I explained my issue to the nice woman who answered & she told me she’ll contact a plumber ASAP. Diron called us back w / in minutes & on video chat walked me & my mom through how to shut off our water until he could get to our house. Diron’s service was exceptional. After he fixed the faucet in my tub he noticed a few other things that needed attention & fixed those things w / no extra charge. He was friendly, honest, worked w / integrity & left the space clean after the work was done. I felt his price was reasonable & was so pleased w / everything. Being faced w / a major situation so early in the morning & being able to hear the calm voice from the receptionist to the kind voice of the plumber, helped to put me at ease during a state of panic. R&D plumbing Inc., saved the day for us. There was a discovered leak that was causing my kitchen ceiling and floor to be saturated with water. The plumber Diron was responsive, professional, and was able to find the cause of the leak and replaced the pipes. Great service and highly recommended.

Woman who schedules the appointments for this business was extremely rude. Just learned this is a mother/son business. Plumber randomly showed up to my home 1 week after the agreed upon date. I had already booked an appointment with another company since the plumber never showed up and their prices were a little too high anyway. When I called to ask what happened and why did the plumber show up a week later, she became very defensive and began yelling. She told me I called to reschedule for the later date. I did not. Instead of admitting it was a scheduling mishap and she has mistaken me with another customer, she began yelling and said she had “notes” about a phone call that never happened. Completely unprofessional. I asked the plumber to leave before he started any repair because I no longer wanted to deal with the company due to her unprofessionalism over the phone. The plumber (son) who was currently in my home apologized for the mistaken and offered the service for a discounted rate. The woman who schedules their appointments was extremely rude. Tropical Storm Isaias caused my basement to flood. My sump pump stopped working. I called the company to replace it, and they placed me on the schedule for the same day. When the plumber arrived, he had difficulty getting to the pump, because our home has a radon mitigation system connected to the pump. He got the old pump to come on, although he acknowledged that it was a temporary fix. He said to let the pump run for a few hours to get the water out of the basement, and he would call me once he got back to the shop to discuss what time he was coming tomorrow. A few hours later, the shop calls and says they've decided not to take the job because they were backed up with work. Now I'm just stuck with a flooded basement. Good thing I have a home warranty. But to leave me like that is unacceptable.

Incredible service and honesty from a trustworthy family run business!! I’m so glad I found D&G Plumbing because I now have a reliable plumber I can trust with honest work at a very reasonable price. They came out in one day and did exactly what I asked and even discounted the price because it took less time than they expected. Almost unbelievable, right?! Please support this family run business so we all can continue to have a great company to rely on!
