My 10-year-old niece has been experiencing cyberbullying, verbal abuse, and death threats from students at this school. The administrators continuously gave her parent the run-around, even with proof of the bullying. Moreover, they had the gall to tell her, "if you are concerned with your child's bullying, remove her from the school." Their lack of accountability to address such a heinous CRIME is abhorrent, and it displays the school's bigoted ways. Do not enroll your child there. The school's leadership is irresponsible and lacks care and empathy for human life, so your child will be in danger.

I am here to warn and address what has been going on secretly at Saint John Paul II Catholic Academy. Principal Claire Barton Sheridan has been contacted and is well aware of the the harassment of a 10-year child, and has done little to nothing to FIX IT. A childs life, identity, and mental health has been tremendously tormented for over a year, which the principal is aware of, and no disciplinary actions have been taken. This review serves as a notice to all that silence will not be the answer. A childs parent will not be advised to remove their child from Saint John Paul II Catholic Academy again, especially when the child is not the aggressor. When a child is being told to kill their self from other students, to think twice about their skin color from peers, and consistently receiving text messages belittling her background from classmates. As a principal: you should STEP UP and SPEAK OUT. I am very displeased with this educational facility and demand answers.

This school is not a place that promotes safety for children. My god daughter has been bullied for over a year. No one has held her bullies accountable. Our little princess is now in therapy because this issue has taken her to a dark place. These bullies told my god daughter to KILL HERSELF. Instead of being met with support and care, the principal, Claire Barton told my loved one to take her daughter out of the school if she feels so unsafe. We need more support for children and families to fight back against bullying. FYI: names have been edited to protect childrens identity. KYS is an acronym for kill yourself.

I refuse to sit back and not doing anything about this! My niece has been dealing with bullying for a year! The principal is well aware of the situation and has yet to settle this matter. My 10 yr old niece is now seeing a professional to help deal with her depression. This not fair! Where is the justice? Then, when her mother speaks with the school, there response is if she feels unhappy or not safe, then she should probably be removed from the school then. How does that fix the the problem???? Thats terrible! Just brushing it off like its nothing. My niece deserves to feel happy and comfortable at school. No, child should have to deal with being bullied! This needs to be handle ASAP! We need answers!

My niece attends this school and has been getting bullied by several girls there. Her mom has complained to the principal, her teachers as well as the school board and no one seems to give the situation any importance. This school is horrible; the faculty has has no regard for child safety and there are no true policy/ procedures set in place for bullying. My niece has been made fun of because of the color of her skin and most recently she was told she should kill herself. This situation has gone on for well over a year and no action has taken place. The principal, Claire Barton Sheridan, is careless and has risked my nieces life repeatedly. Most recently she, Sheridan, expressed to my sister that if she does not like the treatment my niece is receiving, she should remove her. My niece has stated to me on several occasions that she does not feel safe at school because she feels like everyone there is against her and that she has to walk on eggshells in her own classroom. She has a hard time getting out of bed for school and has not been the same since this incident has been going on. Do not send your child to this horrible environment of a school.
