        Great service. The food was good, but the salad tasted like water, no salad dressing on it. The atmosphere was good. It just needs better lighting. It's hard to read the menu's

        Great cozy decor and vibe. Very attentive service and adorable waiters. Fish and chips were yum but pass on the overpriced tomato bisque and wedge salad ($19???) which were yuk. Overall a nice place to hang out and chill and we'll try some of the other entrees next time. Pricey though for what it is!

A part of Martha’s Vineyard history, The Newes has passed through many hands, including William Kelley. A legendary storyteller, patrons often came just to hear him tell a tale or two, or share a bit of news.
