I hired CBA Blessed Construction to install vinyl siding and add a wrap to the window trim on my house. As the project progressed, we ended up also having them do the gutters. The project took about a week and a half due to availability of trim. Two guys showed up each day at 7 am and left around 6 pm. I appreciate the work they did and the overall outcome was pretty good. I am, however, concerned about the detail work, especially around the windows because the way it was done is likely to allow water intrusion. First, there were gaps between where the window framing meets the window sill. In some spots I'm talking around 1/8 an inch. It's noticeable. Along the sills themselves, the wrap ends just a bit short of the window's base, which is fine, but it's not sealed. Water can penetrate into the gap and it will rot the wood. In another spot cut outs on the sills to accommodate the window frame are still there - they never actually removed them. The tabs for the cutout are sticking up and again, they are not sealed and can allow water intrusion. There isn't any kind of tyvec under this wrap either -it was just the original wood sills. It will rot. Where caulking around the window was done, it was done poorly and possibly with the wrong type of caulk as it's already starting to crack. I went back over a lot of these gaps with silicon caulk for windows/exterior trim to seal them up. Other issues were noticeable too. Around a shed that I asked them to not do siding on, they left some mangled piece of aluminum that is still attached to the house. In another spot they didn't trim the fastener plate for the siding (I'm not sure what it's called - it's the piece you actually hook the vinyl siding into) and it extends past the base of the house. I would consider hiring CBA Blessed Construction again, but I would be much more hands on with inspecting the detail work than I was to make sure this isn't a problem. Some of these things might be small details, but water intrusion leading to rot will undermine the entire work product and outcome.

CBA replaced some rotted siding on our home and replaced a broken bit of gutter. They also suggested a device to help channel water away from the siding that had become rotten. The work looks nice. They responded quickly to my questions and were entirely professional. They charged a reasonable price.
